Construction Starting Monday and CII Entrance

Effective Monday August 26th, neither CII or the Library should be walking through the construction area.  When construction gets started (unknown at this time when) they will likely lock the bathroom hallway on the library end and contractors will have their portables outside in their set up area.  This also means that CII has to come around to the front door and through the Circulation swinging door to get their mail.  Please be aware that CII folks may be coming through and they might need directions on how to get to their mailboxes from Circ.

 

Anyone needing to get into the CII department must now enter the building from CII's main entrance, across from the fine arts building.  The same goes for anyone coming in to use the Training Center. 

 

A reminder for those of you coming back to work after a summer hiatus, the MP Room is now offline for construction.  Reference and Periodicals are located in what used to be the Student Lounge.  Sandy's office is now in Room 106 and she has a student worker with a desk in the hallway, so they are available to assist students.  We've also converted group study room #231 into another reservable room to help compensate for the loss of 106, which has already been updated on the reservation website.
