It is imperative when you are figuring a laptop overdue fee that you double check your addition, and don't forget the grace period.
The supervisor MUST verify the amount and post the fine into Sirsi.
If for some reason there is not a supervisor available to post the charge, please leave on my bulletin board to be posted the next morning.
We will reduce the laptop fee to $15 one time. When someone comes to pay a laptop fee, let them speak to a supervisor to see if that is an issue.
I cannot impress upon you how important this is. When someone disputes a fine or fee from us they usually do not come and speak to us about it, they usually go above us. So, please be extremely careful when discussing laptop fees with someone.
