We have had a few odd things happening while checking out patrons in Sirsi so far this week. I guess some of the information hasn't updated in the system yet since we are in between semesters. Here are a couple of things to be aware of when checking out items:
Make sure the due date is correct. If not, notify a supervisor.
If a patron's privileges are showing to be expired, make sure you see proof that they are enrolled in summer classes or have proof of thesis work. Once they show you proof of enrollment, a supervisor can adjust their privilege expiration date in Sirsi, then adjust the due dates.
Hopefully these bugs will be worked out by the end of the week. Just make sure to pay extra attention when checking out items for patrons.
