New Laminating Process!

We now have a new laminating process. Please follow the steps below, and if you have any questions please ask.

1.      Patron comes to the desk asking to have something laminated.

2.      Inform them of

a.       Cost -- $1/foot.

b.      Payment methods accepted – cash, Texan bucks, Departmental Transfer (must have all the account information and be completely filled out with a signature before it will be laminated.)

3.      Let them know:

a.      If turned in by noon, it will be ready by 5 pm the same day.

b.      If it’s after noon, it will be ready by noon the next day.

c.       If they need it sooner, you must get a supervisor.

4.      Have them fill out the form located in the drawer below the cash drawer.

5.      You fill out the Received by.

6.    Gather the form and all pieces to be laminated and take them back to the counter by Vickie’s desk. Put the items to be laminated in one of the file folders in the box. Paperclip the form to the file folder.  If the item is too big to fit in the Drop box place it on the counter near the boxes.

7.      Put the flag up, so whoever is laminating will see it.

8. Once it is laminated it will be returned to the circulation desk with the amount due on the form, or it will have Paid written on it and initialed by the person laminating, and you will hand the completed project to the patron. Remember to keep the Laminating Request Form. The Laminating Request form goes in the envelope behind the cash box in the cash drawer.
