This summer we have a group of Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) on campus. These students have a library card much like the one we do for Friends of the Library, but it says REU on it. They are allowed up to 5 books at a time and if they accrue a fine, THEY MUST PAY FOR IT AT THE DESK! Remember, when they show you this card, they also need to show photo ID (Friendly reminder because I forgot, this is true for all cards that we issue)
Furthermore, they may have some issues when it comes to printing. All of these students will need to select "guest printer" using one of the computers on the main floor of the library. This will pop up a prompt for them to enter the number that has been put on the back of their temporary Texan cards. Then they can go to a release station and print out the document, but only in black and white.
