As we get closer to midterms, I wanted to post a reminder about the practice presentation room.
Please be careful when signing people into the PPR and check that they are actually practicing a presentation and not just using the space as a study room.
A huge red flag is when they reserve the room and then another member of the group has reserved it right after so they can continue working on the presentation. Explain to them that this room is meant for practicing presentations, not working on presentations. Its important, because groups that aren't really using the room for its true purpose tend to trash it way more than those who use the room as a practice space.
Unfortunately, not everyone is truthful when they checkout this room so please do the best you can and use your best judgement.
