Renewing books and other items --
There are a couple of reasons why a book may not be able to be renewed.
- It is a reserve book.
- It has a hold on it.
- The wrong task was used to try and renew the book.
If Sirsi is prompting for an override code, STOP. There is a reason it is wanting you to override it. Speak to a supervisor to see what is up.
To renew a book, you must choose the Renew User option in the Common Tasks menu. You will get prompted for an override code if you use Renew Item.
