Position Changes in User Services

User Services has rearranged some positions and moved offices this week. Please read over these changes closely.

Office/Location Changes:
  • ·         Crystal Money (who will be going by Crystal Stanley soon now since getting married last week) has moved to the lower level, Vickie’s old office. Her position is changing to ½ time archives assistant and ½ reference assistant.
  • ·         Vickie Sowell, has left her temporary Circulation Manager position and has moved to Crystal’s original workspace with the reference team. She is the new User Services Assistant.
  • ·         Gary will be moving into Amanda’s office on the lower level. The current curriculum workroom will become the new office for Amanda and her student workers.
  • ·         For now, the laminator is still downstairs but it will be moving to the reference area in the future.
  • ·         While this shift is happening downstairs, the spiral binding machine and die cuts will be stored outside of Gary's current office.
  • ·         The items from Trudy's collection have been moved from the curriculum workroom to the open shelving at the end of the curriculum section.

Responsibility Changes:
  • ·         Inventory: One of Vickie's main duties is supervising inventory of the library’s collections, so she is storing the inventory gun and iPad in her office now.  If you need to use the iPad and Vickie is currently using it, let a supervisor know and we can ask to borrow the iPad from the Collection Management department.
  • ·         Laminating: Please call Vickie if someone asks to have something laminated.
  • ·         Room Reservations: Vickie is now responsible for room reservations so forward calls to reserve the MP room to her.
  • ·         Display Books: If someone returns a display book, please leave a note on the book and leave it on Jodie Baker's desk.
