Transition week starts Tuesday Aug. 23th-Wednesday Aug. 24th. It starts at 2pm and ends at 5pm. We will have a little over 2,000 freshman come tour the library over those two days. They will come in groups of 40-50 at a time and be lead by either an RL or TTM.
Whiteboards that have been placed all over the library, these are points in which help the tour guides talk about the library to their group. It also gives them all a chance to see different aspects of the library and everything we offer. Each group will begin each tour in either the multipurpose room or the training center. If there is a student that is lost tell them to find their group number. Each leader will have a sign that has their number attached to it. If they still have problems or if there is any other issues send them to the reference desk for help.
Also, don't forget that we will be open this weekend 1-5 on both days, and next week until 7pm.
This next week will be super busy, loud, and packed with tons of students! But, we will all get through it together! And classes will be back in session before we know it! :)
