Printing issue with Firefox

Since we've updated to Window's 10, we have encountered a problem with Firefox.  Students who try to print in Firefox only manage to receive a blank page when they retrieve their job.  Reference will issue a free reprint, but there are steps to get it.

Printing goes through the Pharos system.  Ordinarily, reference logs into Pharos and reprints the job when there is a problem.  Reprinting a job that was printed via a Firefox browser will only result in another blank page.  Students can get a free re-print by doing one of the following:

1.  Logging back onto the computer and submitting the job in Internet Explorer.  Once they accept the charge on the computer screen, there will be a new print job in Pharos for reference to release manually.

2.  Students can submit the document in a jump drive and bring it over to reference to print out directly at the desk.

If a student comes to the desk with printing issues, please direct them to the reference desk.

As always, feel free to ask more questions!
