FINALS ARE UPON US

 Starting THIS Thursday is All-Night Study.  The library will be open 7AM Thursday till 10PM Saturday. It will then reopen at 10AM Sunday morning and not close again until Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning at 2AM. Like years past, there will be an officer here to assist and do rounds. HOWEVER, we are changing things a bit this semester. This finals we will not require students to check-in or show student ID after midnight. This will get rid of the issues we’ve had in past years when we had to deny access to students who did not have some form of photo ID. With there being an officer present, we are already making it a safe place.

What this means for you all working overnight shifts is that we will continue to do hourly counts during the over-night hours. This is SUPER important as we use this data to show whether or not it is worth being open during these hours. So please make sure these are getting done.

*For those working all-night*, SIRSI and Circ 1 and 2 must be logged out around 1:30AM and stay logged off until 7AM. Also, we are still taking reservations for the rooms, but after 1AM, its first come first served for 159 and 160. If someone has the room checked out before that time, they need to return the clipboard by the time you log off of SIRSI. If someone wants to check out a laptop charger after SIRSI goes down, do a handcheck form and keep them at the desk until the item is returned. Because the computers will be down, I STRONGLY recommend bringing your own device during those hours to work on finals and help you stay awake.
