Hello all!
The reference books are starting to move upstairs to the general collection. It is important when shelving these books (and honestly... any other time you have new books as well) that you do NOT take the book end down to get new books to fit. If you find a shelf that will not hold any more books, you have to do some shifting.
Basically, if there is room on the shelf above/before, move the books up to make room for the new book. However, if there is room on the shelf below/behind, move some of the books down to make room. In either case, please make sure that the books are still in order. If you are in a section in which most of the shelves immediately before or after are packed and it will take more than a quick shift to fix, please bring those books back down and place them in my office (with a note so I know whats up, please!).
If you have any questions, please ask!
