Searching for books

If someone comes to the desk looking for a book send them to the reference desk. They will be glad to help them.

  1. I'd like to add to this topic. It's very important that patrons get the correct information, which is why we ask that students working at the Circulation desk do not attempt to locate books. Oftentimes, the patron is very vague in their request. Asking for an education book might be referring to the Texas State Adopted Curriculum collection or possibly the stacks section that corresponds with the subject education.

The reference question box for statistics refers to questions about Circulation policies (how long is my loan period, how many items can I have out at once, etc).

Please do no attempt to answer reference questions on your own, instead send them to the information desk. Thanks!
