Banned Books Week 9/21 - 9/27

This week we are celebrating Banned Books Week!  As you have probably noticed, we have set up a display across from the circulation desk that contains many banned/challenged books and reasons why those books were challenged.  If someone wants to check out a book from the display, let me know.  I'll have to retrieve the display case key to get into it from Administration.

In addition to our tradition of handing out buttons, this year students are encouraged to participate by creating their own "Wanted" posters like the one below.  We have poster stations set up on each floor.  Ont the main level copy area, the upper level copy area and right outside the work room on the lower level.  Each area has a cart of banned books with it for patrons to pose with.  Please direct patrons to these stations when asked about Banned Books Week or our "Wanted" posters.
