Locking Study Rooms

Please remember whenever you let a student into a reservable room to not fully unlock the door.  Depending on the direction you turn the key, the door will open once and remain locked or it the key will turn completely and the door will be permanently unlocked until someone comes back to fix it.

It's very important that we keep the study rooms locked at all times, even when being used by patrons.  If people are able to sneak in between appointments because the room is unlocked, it can cause issues for patrons when someone with an appointment wants the room. It's better to just prevent these issues from happening in the first place.

Be sure to test the door before you leave the patron to make sure the door knob is locked, and let the patron know that they will have to be let back in if they leave the room.

Thank you!

Kym
