Cash Drawer

Circulation students,
Do not use the cash drawer to break bills for customers. It is not intended as a bank drawer. When we take in large bills to make change for people, it makes it impossible for us to give change back if someone needs to pay a fine.

The only reason you should be using money in the cash drawer is to take payments for library fines and services. We have an ATM machine in the main level copy center if users need small bills ($5s, 10s, and 20s).
