Libary Service Day, End of Semester and such...

If you are interested in helping the library do a service project at the Stephenville Public Library, please let Kym know by 4pm on Friday, April 1. We will have a verification form that we can give you for your classes.

Deadline for volunteering with the library at the Stephenville Public Library

 

4 pm on Friday, April 1st

A lot will be happening in the 4-5 weeks:

 

1. Registration -- which means a lot of fines will be paid. ;)

2. Service Day

3. Student Worker luncheon

4. Evaluations

5. Finals

6. Graduation!

 

Everyone is very busy, stressed, and may or may not have a little bit of senioritis, so please be patient with each other, and please show up for your shifts unless you have made prior arrangements with your supervisor.

 

Ginger and I will be working on evaluations in the near future and will be contacting each of you go over them. They will be completed by finals week.

 

Please have your finals schedule to either of us by Friday, April 8th

 

Please turn in your summer/fall schedules to either of us, so we can plan our schedules. Schedules need to be turned in by Friday, April 15th.

 

We have had a couple of books turned in lately that weren't actually checked out. One of the specifically was turned in with a book that was checked out, so I suspect that there was a window that popped up on the computer that caused the book to not be checked out. Make sure when you are scanning the books that you are checking the screen on the computer. It's also a good idea to look at the receipt before you hand it to the patron.
