- The front cart not getting emptied regularly.
- The cart where the general stacks get put after they are discharged should be emptied regularly. Once there is a full shelf move them to the sorting area.
- Occasionally, we will have an influx of new books and the cart gets really full. Move them as soon as an opportunity arises. You can also bring a small cart over to gather a few at a time and make a cart.
- Marker bags not being checked for good markers and empty bags being put back in the drawer.
- Please check the marker bags to ensure that there are two markers and an eraser in the bag.
- If the markers do NOT work, discharge the bag, and place the bag on a supervisor's desk.
- Cell phone should NOT be used while in the stacks. You may use the clock on your phone but you should not be texting, calling, Facebooking, tweeting, listening to music, or emailing while at work. If you need more clarification, come see me, and we'll talk.
- Stickers being placed up in the stacks when it appears the tasks were not completed. Example: Joe goes upstairs to dust. He locates the sticker of the last person the dusted -- the shelves do not appear to have been dusted since John Tarleton was alive! Please have good work ethic and complete the tasks that you have been assigned.
- Room reservation checklists not being completed. Please complete the check list for the MP and PPR rooms. A supervisor can watch the desk while you go and check the rooms.
- Please keep the study room keys in a logical place. A good place to keep them is near the walkie talkies. Do NOT stick them in a drawer or leave them on your lanyard. It's frustrating to have to hunt for keys before we can let someone in their room.
- You are at work. Please tell your friends to catch up with you after work. Do not visit at the desk or in the stacks while you are on the clock.

Evaluation discussions -- Reminders
So I tried in each of your evaluations to ask if there have been some frustrations for you over the past semester. I was pleased that several of you shared them with me, so we can learn from them and get better.
