There have been a couple times this week that the red bag was not given to the patrons that were in the practice presentation room. This bag is required to be checked out with EVERY reservation. The patrons do not have the option to not check out the bag.
The red bag is important because by doing this, it helps us ensure that they only stay in the room for the 2 hours (it will charge them a fine if they go over) and that they use only the markers in the red bag. The other markers that we have for check out cannot be used in that room because since it is not a regular white board it leaves a stain on the board that is extremely hard to get off.
Also, I had to kick students out of the room tonight that were just using the room to study. This happens a lot, please help us by making sure this room is only used for rehearsing presentations by asking what class and presentation they need the room for. The sign in sheet for the room tonight said that they needed it for Biology Exam 1. Once I saw this, It was obvious that they weren't actually rehearsing.
