Resetting Time Clock Training
Since they have changed the work week from Sun-Sat, the time clock now needs to be reset bi weekly on Saturdays. We have decided that it would be a good idea to train everyone on this just in case you have a Saturday closing shift or if you decide to cover that shift for someone.
It is a really simple process, and the instructions are printed on the side of the intercom case. Please get with Kim or myself and we will walk you through the steps to reset it. This will be done at the end of your shift after you have clocked out, only on the Saturdays that are ending that pay period.
The keys to the time clock are located in the same key box as all the other keys and are labeled as "time clock". You will also need to replace the time cards. Kim will put the new ones by the closing tasks and the old ones will go on her desk. The most important thing to remember is that you have to push "Set" twice for it to work properly. You can always check to make sure it worked by pushing "Function and Change" again and this time there should be no numbers to go through since all the time cards will be cleared.
I have printed off a sheet for everyone to sign once you have been trained on this. It will be located on the clipboard by the type writer.
If you have any questions on the day that you have to reset it please feel free to call me.
Thanks!
Ginger
