When working in the stacks I need everyone to be working on the task that they signed in the book for. This means if you signed in the book to go up and dust that is the task that you should be working on.
Dusting Procedure:
1. Take a cart up with you.
2. Take a dust cloth and dust broom/brush.
3. Start with the top shelf and work you way down.
4. Pull all the books off of the shelf.
5. Dust the shelf with your dust cloth.
6. Use the dust broom/brush to brush off the dust in the grooves of the book.
7. Replace the books in the proper order back on the shelf.
Now if a someone approaches you to help look for a book please help them.
Also, remember to use the location stickers, fill them out correctly, and please write neatly. It really helps the next person going up.
