Okay... after discussion with Kym about the dress code, it has been decided that yoga pants will NOT be allowed. You can wear leggings if you are wearing an appropriate shirt -- NOT a long T-shirt. I am including examples of the shirt length and style that is appropriate with leggings.
It doesn't have to look like this shirt, but it must be something other than a long T-shirt and it must be fingertip length.
You will probably see student workers from other departments wearing them, but this has been decided for the Circulation department. So going forth please do NOT wear yoga pants to work in.
We have 3 new student workers. Emma has already started, and there will be two others starting in the next week or two. If you are a student worker that has been working here for awhile please model correct work behavior and ethics for them, and remember than the supervisor should be the one that is training them. If a supervisor is not available then you may help them out.
The schedule has been very chaotic lately because of people leaving and having to hire new people. Please be patient with us, and know that we are doing the best that we can. If you have a special request please post it to the board on When 2 Work.
Job duties--
Please make sure that you are doing all tasks that are assigned in the stacks. I hate dusting too, but it is something that we need to be doing every week.
Also remember to take turns with your co-workers and talk to them about breaks.
