Texan Bill Pay...
I know it's a little confusing. But, we'll work out the bugs soon enough. If you have a patron who just doesn't understand get a supervisor. We'll see what we can do for them.
Scheduling...
We are adjusting the scheduling due to some requests. Please be patient, and as long as we have at least one person per hour we're good. But, if you need schedule changes let us know as soon as you possibly can, and give us a little time to work on it. And, for the one that has to kick butt in the morning at PT...thanks for being a trooper! We are working on it!
Open forum...
I just wanted to open the floor up to any questions or comments. Please let us know if you have any questions about anything. There are a lot more of you than Ginger and I. If you have any suggestions, please let us know we'll see if we can work things out.
Shifting...
In the next 2-3 weeks we will beging shifting. We are trying to eliminate the small T-Z section right next to the quiet zone. For those of you who do not know what shifting is -- shifting is the process we undertake to move entire sections of book. We are getting rid of the T-Z section, so we need to move then back into the bigger Q-T section. But, while shifting we really need to be aware of our shelf reading.
A mis-shelved book is a lost book. Think for a moment if you desparately needed a book for a class, and it was shelved in the wrong spot. You can't find it, but it is in the library somewhere. It is essentially a lost book, so please be careful during the shift, and while you are re-shelving books.
